about us

The Women Football League (WFL) is the first official nationwide football league in Saudi Arabia to be organized and managed by an experienced team with solid organizational and technical background in tournament organization.
The league will launch in three main cities Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam - during the first phase. Registration will be open as well for other cities. In the event where registrations reach a minimum of four registered teams at 20 players per team minimum, then a separate league will be launched in that city . Participation will be open for ages 17+ and played on format 9v9, with a final Champion Cup knockout tournament.
The WFL provides the opportunity for players to participate in a tournament, and also provides educational opportunities for those who would like to continue on the coach and referee trajectory. Several courses will be delivered throughout the league to ensure skills development for players, coaches, and referees. Courses will be developed and delivered by certified instructors from the Asian Football Confederation with vast experience in training and delivery of courses, in addition to grassroots and amateur football programs. The aim of the instruction is to boost and enhance the WFL while upskilling its participants.
